Founded in 1991 by Certified Clinical Medical Hypnotherapist Margaret Kaufman, Venture Inward is conveniently located at 568 Columbia Turnpike, Suite 16 in East Greenbush, NY and offers a variety of personal growth programs, including hypnosis, psychic intuitive development, spiritual growth, mind/body healing, hypnosis. progressive relaxation techniques, visualization therapy, stress management, meditation, yoga, and a host of other health & wellness and personal development classes and programs.
Our individual consultations or classes and programs can help you to learn how to create the life you have always wanted to live. Venture Inward provides a safe place where one can heal and grow.
The Venture Inward philosophy is that many personal problems, addictions, and emotional/physical symptoms arise from suppressed dysfunctional memories that act silently and insidiously, influencing everyday behavior and emotional well-being. Hypnosis can provide an alternative to chronic unhappiness by providing a mechanism to you to speak to your body and mind directly and thereby intentionally bring about positive changes in how you function.
Hypnosis incorporates the latest scientific research utilizing breathing and relaxation techniques, guided imagery, visualization and autosuggestion to communicate with the subconscious mind — suggesting that the mind replace negative and unwanted thought patterns, emotions and/or behaviors with positive, empowering choices.
Hypnosis, as with any mind/body healing technique, can be applied to almost any area of life or to any health care concern; but all these techniques are adjunctive treatments for any condition. It is important that you are aware of all the medical options for your condition and always seek proper medical care.

Marge believes that for change, growth, and development to be most effective individuals must be offered a learning process that provides continuity and continual reinforcement through ongoing development programs. Desiring to provide a forum whereby individuals can learn and develop techniques to move them towards a state of limitless potential, in 1992 she founded Venture Inward Personal and Professional Development Center which is located in East Greenbush, NY. Participants in Marge’s classes form an immediate trust and rapport with her because it is apparent that she is not just delivering a program; but rather is presenting concepts that she not only believes in but has successfully applied to all areas of her own life. People leave her presentations with more than knowledge — they are truly inspired, uplifted and empowered. Marge believes that for permanent and powerful change to take place in one’s life, participants must be provided with “take home” skills. With this goal in mind, participants are provided with tools and techniques that if implemented and practiced, will reinforce the concepts presented in the programs so that powerful and lasting change can occur.
Prior to becoming a consultant and trainer, her background includes twenty-five years of progressively more responsible positions with the New York State Legislature. She served as a Staff Director to the former New York State Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Sen. Emanuel R. Gold, for twenty years and was special projects coordinator to the former Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Manfred Ohrenstein.
She was elected to the executive board of a national legislative organization, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and traveled extensively throughout the United States representing the New York State Senate at meetings and conferences in nearly all the fifty state capitals. Among the positions she has held in this organization are Chair of the National Conference of State Legislatures Leadership Staff Committee and Staff Vice Chair of the Assembly on the Legislature.
After leaving the legislature, she served as a public relations consultant to a consortium of insurance companies comprised of Aetna, CIGNA, MetLife, Prudential and Traveler; and is presently representing Hospital Audiences, Inc., a not-for-profit organization based in New York City that provides educational and culturally-oriented programs that help empower individuals to take charge of their own health and well-being to the fullest extent of their abilities. For four years, Marge also was a part-time therapist at Crossroads, a day treatment center for people with addictions where she assists those in recovery with hypnotherapy, relaxation techniques and stress management.
