SPIRITUAL PARENTING

The Importance of Keeping Your Child’s Heart Open

Saturday November 7, 1:00-3:30 PM with Biofeedback Specialist, Bethany Gonyea

As parents, we have been given one of the most challenging and rewarding roles on earth: to raise our children in today’s distracting environment in a manner that keeps their hearts open to God.  Biofeedback specialist Bethany Gonyea teaches us how to grow into success in this vital endeavor by applying what is being revealed through cutting edge mind-body research to what matters most – Spiritual Parenting.

On a daily basis, Ms. Gonyea teaches biofeedback skills that enable individuals to lower their lower blood pressure, abort migraine headaches, and even increase hand and foot temperature, all by simply focusing their mind.   In this ground breaking audio program, Ms. Gonyea builds on these powerful foundational skills and teaches listeners how to focus their mind in a manner that enables them to experience God, not just define him.  She offers the framework for how we can train our nervous system to “pray without ceasing” so that we can learn to commune with God at all times.  She combines the writings of two modern mystics and current research to offer us a tangible way forward, so that we too, can live in sublime peace.  Parents are encouraged to cultivate these skills first and then teach them to their children through specific conversations.

Subtle Energy Biofeedback Workshop

October 24th, 2009,  Saturday, 1:00-4:00 PM with Biofeedback Specialist, Bethany Gonyea, MS

Internationally known medical intuitive, Carolyn Myss, who has a 92% accuracy rate for diagnosing illness, is well known for encouraging her clients to accelerate physical healing by “pulling their spirit back” from situations where their power is being hemorrhaged.  What exactly does she mean by this?  Similarly, Shamans are also known for their ability to perform soul retrievals, where they enter into a loving state and journey ‘back in time” to retrieve a patient’s soul essence that ‘splintered off’ during a time of crises.  Is it true that we lose our power to situations?  If so, how do we know when we are fracturing our spirit?  Can we stay more in command of our spirit so that we have more of it available in the present moment for healing?

Biofeedback instruments and techniques give us incredible insight into these internal mastery skills. When we learn how to read our bodies like a biofeedback instrument, we gain powerful tools for learning how to manage our spirit.  Neuroscientists are currently telling us that the mind and the body are one, so we cannot influence one without influencing the other.  Whatever we do with our mind or spirit has a corresponding effect in the body through our subtle energies (also known as bioelectricity or chi).

In this workshop, through biofeedback demonstrations and experimentation, we will learn how to become aware of our own subtle energy landscape.  We will learn where our chi is depleted, how it feels when our spirit leaves our body, and how these concepts relate to emotional issues such as depression, addictions, and health challenges.

Workshop Fee $25
